/pôr/ wine house has filled a nitch in Louisville that so desperately needed to be filled by providing an environment in which you can enjoy a glass of wine and feel like you have been transported to another place. Our wine house is situated just steps off main street, but somehow feel miles away from the bustle of cars and people. Often times our guests will tell us that they feel like it reminds them of a place they visited while on vacation in Europe, and that is what we enjoy most; that people feel like they are on vacation while dinning at /pôr/ wine house. What's more, we have an exceptional offering of wines on tap, with 14 different wines by the glass to choice from, we have something for everyone. /pôr/ wine house also prides itself on always having at least one Sommelier on staff to help develop our wine list, as well as guide our guest thought their wine drinking experience. All told, /pôr/ wine house is as unique as Louisville, CO itself, and will continue to delight those that wander down our little brick path.

St. Patricks Day with Boys of the Town

Boys of the Town Band Biography

Boys of the Town plays and sings traditional Irish Music. To listen to a performance will transport you to Ireland and help you to feel as if you are listening to a high quality session in a pub. The tunes are authentically presented as they have been for decades by players the world over dedicated to preserving this living tradition. You will be hard pressed to keep from tapping a toe or drumming a finger to the rhythms rooted in Irish dance. The songs, sung in both English and the Irish language evoke images of the past and the humor for which the Irish people are renowned.

The band members are all multi instrumentalists with decades of experience performing, teaching and recording. The instrumentals incorporate the Irish flute and whistle, button accordion, banjo, concertina, fiddle, Irish and Greek bouzouki and the bodhran (bow-rahn, the Irish frame drum).  The players have extensive experience playing and teaching at festivals such as the Colorado Irish Festival, Cheyenne Festival, Spanish Peaks Festival, Cherokee Ranch Castle, the Colorado Governor’s residence, pubs and homes in Ireland and well known venues including the Fillmore Auditorium, San Francisco. Members also have many recording credits.
