/pôr/ wine house has filled a nitch in Louisville that so desperately needed to be filled by providing an environment in which you can enjoy a glass of wine and feel like you have been transported to another place. Our wine house is situated just steps off main street, but somehow feel miles away from the bustle of cars and people. Often times our customers will tell us that they feel like it reminds them of a place they visited while on vacation in Europe, and that is what we enjoy most; that people feel like they are on vacation while dinning at /pôr/ wine house. What's more, we have an exceptional offering of wines on tap, with 14 different wines by the glass to choice from, we have something for everyone. /pôr/ wine house also prides itself on always having at least one Sommelier on staff to help develop our wine list, as well as guide our guest thought their wine drinking experience. All told, /pôr/ wine house is as unique as Louisville, CO itself, and will continue to delight those that wonder down our little brick path.

Job Description:

Summary: 

/pôr/ Wine House is currently seeks a Busser to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, detail oriented and have a passion for giving guests an exceptional experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To ensure guest satisfaction and profitability is maximized at every opportunity.
  • To uphold professional standards of excellence and set an example to all other associates at all times.
  • To assist servers in the service of Food and Beverage in our dining establishment, at por wine house. 
  • Clearing and re-setting of tables.
  • Provide water service for all tables.
  • Empty linen bags, take out trash, organize dish area, and polish glassware and other duties assigned by management.
  • To be able to work well under pressure and to complete all assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • To aid the Servers and Restaurant Managers during service times.
  • 100% menu knowledge.
  • Understand and adhere to environmental standards set by the por wine house.
  • To be able to work well under pressure and to complete all assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • To maintain a clean work environment and uphold all Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Always have higher expectations for service levels.
  • Be confident in taking the lead in any guest issues that may arise during your shift and communicate these to your Manager immediately.
  • Set the example of excellence in standards to other Associates at all times.
  • Ensure that all duties are carried out before the end of shift.
  • Assist fellow Associates with additional job duties as business dictates and is required.
  • Understands and adheres to the por wine house values and service standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Education and Experience
  • One year of experience bussing in a fine dining restaurant environment preferred. 
  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Able to engage the guests in a clear and professional manner.
  • Must be willing and able to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work in high paced work environment.
  • Ability to Multi Task.
